About the Role

Nationale-Nederlanden is looking for a Data Governance Expert to serve as the mastermind behind designing our Data Marketplace. You will be the linking pin between business users, developers, engineers, architects, Product Owners, data management teams, and management. Your main responsibility is to navigate the Finance & Risk regulatory landscape while implementing automated governance controls and identifying fit-for-purpose data products to publish.

What You'll Do

  • Promote Data Literacy by providing training and support for the Data Owner & Stewardship Community.
  • Establish and maintain Data Lineage across the Finance and Risk value chains.
  • Improve Data Governance processes and ensure they are well followed within the Finance & Risk teams.
  • Design and develop the operating model of the metadata platform (Collibra).
  • Provide technical oversight of new Collibra configurations, integrations, and workflow development.

What We're Looking For

  • A higher education degree is required.
  • 5+ years of overall professional experience.
  • 3 years of specific experience in Data Management and Governance.
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining horizontal data lineage—end-to-end data traceability.
  • Experience with data integration projects, including reference data and data quality frameworks.
  • Strong Collibra knowledge demonstrable through relevant certifications, such as Solution Architect or Ranger.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in Finance or (Business) Information Management with a relation to Data & AI is preferable.

  • Compensation between €5,363 and €7,661 per month (based on a 40-hour work week).
