Evernorth is looking for a Data Engineering Lead Analyst to join our Data & Analytics Engineering organization. We are seeking an exceptional engineer responsible for the delivery of business needs from understanding requirements to deploying software into production. You will be fluent in critical technologies, have a hunger to learn, and add value to our mission of making healthcare more affordable, predictable, and simple.

What You'll Do

Deliver business needs from requirements to production deployment.
Drive adoption of CI/CD tools and support improvement of tool sets and processes.
Articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern daily.
Design and architect solutions independently.
Take ownership and accountability for your work.
Write referenceable and modular code.
Maintain a quality mindset for both code and ongoing data quality, monitoring data to identify problems before they have business impact.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
5+ years of experience in Data Management, SQL and BTEQ on the Teradata platform.
5+ years in the Abinitio Enterprise Data Platform.
Expertise in Data architecture and modelling solutions.
Experience working on Analytical Models and their deployment or production enablement via data and analytical pipelines.
Expertise in Query Tuning and Performance improvements.
3+ years of experience with Mainframe tools JCL, CA7, and control cards.
Experience with version management tools – Git preferred.
Experience working in an agile CI/CD environment; Jenkins experience preferred.
3+ years being part of Agile teams – Scrum.
Prior experience in an onsite/offshore setup or model.

Nice to Have

Experience developing Applications using Databricks and Spark 3.x for ETL and Data pipelines, Workflows and notebooks for Data Ingestion.
A good understanding of Snowflake cloud database architecture.
Experience with Health care information domains.
Experience in Python.
