Solventum is hiring a Data Engineer

Solventum is hiring a Data Engineer to join our HIS Data Governance team. In this role, you will support the creation of de-identified data sets to enable product development and collaborate across teams to implement data governance policies.

What You'll Do

• Support creating de-identified data sets (structured and unstructured) to enable Solventum HIS product development globally.
• Work closely with other teams to deliver data-driven products.
• Collaborate with Privacy and other business units to enable cross-business collaboration.
• Work across HIS development teams to establish SOPs for Retention, Destruction, De-Identification, and other Data Governance policies.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher plus a minimum of 2+ years of Software Development experience OR a High School Diploma/GED plus a minimum of 6+ years of Software Development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years combined Data Engineering experience with databases like MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H1B status).

Nice to Have

• 2+ years of Software Development experience in the Cloud.
• 2+ years of Data Governance experience.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of healthcare and clinical data.

You will be part of the HIS Data Governance team, collaborating closely with development, privacy, and other business units.
