Deloitte is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. You will lead engagement and client teams across data and analytics domains, transforming complex business problems into practical solutions for large organizations. This role involves growing and mentoring junior team members, contributing to sales, and helping deliver on ambitious plans to grow the practice.
What You'll Do
- Lead engagement and client teams across data and analytics domains.

- Support clients to grow responsibly through the use of applied data and analytics.
- Support the industry leadership in growing our risk analytics business.
- Support the establishment of repeatable analytical models and approaches for clients.
- Work with other Deloitte functions to further the use of data & analytics in go to market activities.
- Manage and support team members in the delivery of work.
- Build strong relationships with key Deloitte team members and clients.
- Enhance the value of our deliverables and the insights provided by our work.
- Support in reviews of data and data use for regulatory compliance and process and control effectiveness.
- Work with existing clients to design and develop programs for data and analytics.
- Support the senior management team with go to market activities relating to risk and regulatory data and analytics projects.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional planning, organization, project and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts.
- Minimum 7 years of experience of managing, strengthening, and broadening key client relationships.
- Minimum 7 years of experience of managing and leading team delivery.
- Experience in Financial Services Industry in a consulting or industry capacity.
- Experience in Risk and Regulatory Compliance areas in a consulting or industry capacity.
- Experience in delivering a broad range of data analytics engagements in areas such as Data Strategy, Data Architecture, Data Migration, Data Analytics, Data Governance and Data Quality.
- Experience in applying Data Analytics, ML/AI and/or other insights approaches to deliver business value.
- Experience in working with analytical, visualization and data engineering capabilities.
- Experience in developing and designing solutions on cloud platforms and data platforms like Azure and Databricks.
- Hands on development experience in python/pyspark.
- Ability to own and drive initiatives in many different and challenging environments.
- Ability to understand client needs and deliver value through proven and innovative approaches.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to produce clear, concise, and logical presentations and reports.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment, both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
- Curiosity and comfortability with ambiguity.
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in relevant field.
- Willingness/flexibility of traveling to client locations, as required.

- US Regulatory experience is an asset.
