Responsibilities
- Write code in multiple programming and scripting languages to automate the intake of data and streamline data handling workflows.
- Design and deploy data storage systems, establish data platforms, and create pipelines for collecting, transforming, and summarizing data.
- Evaluate current data architecture and strategies, then refine practices around data governance, quality assurance, and metadata tracking.
- Retrieve and examine raw data from diverse sources using APIs, SQL stored procedures, or Python-based scripts.
- Build scripts and programs to convert disparate data formats into consistent, usable structures and assist teams in scaling and managing data infrastructure.
- Work alongside analysts, data scientists, engineers, developers, and end users in an agile, dynamic setting.
- Apply expertise in data analysis and exploration while overseeing the evaluation, design, development, and upkeep of scalable data solutions for clients.
- Report progress and outcomes of projects to leadership at various levels.
