- Develop and manage reliable data workflows using PySpark, SQL, and Python in the Databricks environment.
- Work with teams across functions to define data needs and convert them into efficient engineering solutions.
- Lead the creation and rollout of ETL systems that power company-wide data applications and reporting tools.
- Help shape data architectures and models using Snowflake and other cloud data platforms.
- Engage in code evaluation, testing, and technical documentation to uphold solution quality and long-term maintainability.
- Track and enhance the speed and dependability of data pipelines handling large-scale datasets.
- Advance data governance and tracking by applying strong practices in Git versioning and metadata standards.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies or methods to strengthen data engineering processes.
- Proactively seek ways to automate tasks and boost productivity within data systems.
