Join The Boeing Company as a Data Engineer Intern for the summer of 2026. In this role, you will expand the company's self-service data initiative by building data products within a Microsoft Azure technology stack. You will focus on synthesizing datasets across multiple source systems and transforming complex schemas into clean, interpretable data products.
What You'll Do
- Develop data pipelines and products using PySpark and SQL
- Synthesize datasets across multiple source systems
- Perform data wrangling and cleansing
- Implement data quality checks
- Orchestrate ETL pipelines
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Currently studying computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, industrial engineering, information systems, business analytics, or a similar field
- Experience in Python or SQL
- Enrolled student with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud computing, including Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Strong academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills demonstrated through leadership in teams, student, or civic organizations
- Strong technical experiences demonstrated through projects, research, or engineering internships
- Exceptional communication skills and enthusiasm for engineering, aerospace, and a career with Boeing
- Junior or Senior class standing
