Centene is looking for a Data Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will develop and operationalize data pipelines to make data available for consumption in reports and advanced analytics. You'll be instrumental in using technology to improve health outcomes around the world.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement standardized data management procedures around data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction.
- Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for business intelligence analytics.
- Design, develop, and maintain scheduled processes supporting automated daily, weekly, and monthly refreshes.
- Ensure the quality of technical solutions as data moves across Centene’s environments.
- Provide insight into the changing data environment and data processing requirements, offering suggestions for solutions.
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures using programming languages and tools.
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality, using data to discover tasks that can be automated.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 2 – 4 years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
