Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operational and analytics teams to develop data models and datasets that meet business requirements.
- Create and manage data transformation projects, including model layers, macros, and source freshness to enhance delivery and reliability.
- Design and refine dimensional models and analytics patterns that align with key business areas.
- Define and govern metrics, including KPI logic, naming standards, and calculation rules, to ensure consistent use across tools and teams.
- Implement data quality practices, including tests and anomaly checks, to ensure reliable reporting and decision-making.
- Develop clear documentation and enablement assets to support self-service analytics.
- Optimize data warehouse performance and cost through SQL tuning and efficient data design.
- Use software engineering practices, such as Git workflows and peer review, to deploy changes safely and consistently.
- Proactively address and resolve data-related issues to maintain system reliability and data integrity.
- Provide ongoing support for critical analytics data products and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Ensure adherence to the company's Code of Conduct, including reporting noncompliance.
