Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage scalable data pipelines that aggregate communication data from diverse sources including Slack, email platforms, and internal web systems.
- Configure and maintain Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementations, defining events, parameters, custom dimensions, and explorations tailored to internal engagement tracking.
- Write advanced SQL queries to clean, join, and normalize data across systems, ensuring consistency and reliability in reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards in Looker Studio or Tableau to visualize communication trends, engagement levels, and behavioral patterns.
- Translate technical findings into clear, strategic insights for business leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Identify root causes behind engagement shifts by analyzing behavioral data and recommending measurable improvements.
- Enforce tagging standards and UTM governance across digital touchpoints such as newsletters and internal landing pages to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with communications, product, and analytics teams to refine KPIs and evolve the organization’s internal measurement framework.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related analytics-intensive roles.
- Deep expertise with Google Analytics 4, including event modeling, custom dimensions, and exploratory analysis.
- Strong command of SQL for integrating and transforming data from heterogeneous sources.
- Proven experience developing dashboards and data models in Looker Studio or Tableau.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with digital, product, or marketing analytics environments and instrumentation practices.
- Experience validating analytics setups and ensuring correct tracking across platforms.
Preferred Background
- Python experience for data analysis, automation, or transformation workflows.
- Exposure to employee communication platforms like Poppulo, LumApps, or similar tools.
- Experience merging behavioral data—such as clickstreams and engagement metrics—with survey or sentiment data like eNPS or internal feedback.
