Responsibilities
- Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake and Azure Blob Storage
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory
- Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with analytics teams to support reporting and BI needs
- Ensure data quality through validation and monitoring processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues
- Work with structured and unstructured data sources
- Support data governance and security standards
- Integrate data from multiple systems into centralized repositories
- Use Databricks for large-scale data processing tasks
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Implement data modeling techniques for analytical use cases
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Document data architectures and pipeline designs
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
- Contribute to infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Automate routine data operations and monitoring tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data requirements
- Stay current with Azure platform updates and new features
- Support deployment and configuration in cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
