CVS Health is looking for a Data Engineer to join Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company. You will design, build, and manage large-scale data structures and efficient ETL workflows to support critical business applications.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and manage large-scale data structures, pipelines, and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows.
Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data to generate insights and address reporting needs.
Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines.
Utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers.
Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards.
Analyze current IT environments to identify critical capabilities and recommend solutions.
Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions for specific models and use cases.

What We're Looking For

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Two (2) years of experience in R, Python, or SQL.
Two (2) years of experience providing domain support for a healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.
Two (2) years of experience analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources.
Two (2) years of data analysis experience for the health care industry, products, or systems.
Two (2) years of analytics experience within the retail and/or healthcare industries.
Two (2) years of experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
Two (2) years of experience with SAS or SQL programming languages.
Two (2) years of experience with visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau.
Two (2) years of experience designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases.
