Responsibilities
- Design and implement code in multiple programming and scripting languages to streamline data ingestion and enhance data handling procedures.
- Construct data storage systems, deploy data platforms, and create pipelines for collecting, transforming, and summarizing data.
- Evaluate current data architecture and strategy, then refine practices related to data governance, quality assurance, and metadata tracking.
- Retrieve and examine raw datasets from diverse sources using APIs, SQL stored procedures, or Python-based scripts.
- Build scripts and applications to convert disparate data formats into consistent, usable structures and assist teams in operating and scaling data infrastructure.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams including analysts, data scientists, engineers, developers, and end users in a dynamic agile setting.
- Apply expertise in data analysis and exploration to oversee the evaluation, design, development, and upkeep of scalable client data platforms.
- Report project progress and outcomes clearly to stakeholders across different organizational levels.
Other
Occasional travel to client locations is required to interact directly with clients, discuss data pipeline designs, collaborate on solutions, and maintain strong client relationships.
