Join 2C2P as a Data Engineer, where you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our database management, performance optimization, and security compliance. You'll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and availability of data systems that power our payment solutions in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

What You'll Do

Install, configure, upgrade, and patch database software.
Manage database objects including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
Ensure high availability and implement disaster recovery strategies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot slow queries, and resolve bottlenecks.
Optimize database storage and tune queries for performance.
Plan and implement robust backup and restore procedures.
Ensure data recovery solutions are in place and tested regularly.
Implement and maintain database security, including access control and encryption.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Provide technical support to developers and application teams on database architecture.
Troubleshoot issues related to database connectivity, performance, and access.
Maintain comprehensive database documentation, including architecture diagrams and procedures.
Generate regular reports on system health, performance, and usage.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server, AWS Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Atlas.
Experience with database backup, recovery, tuning, and optimization.
Familiarity with cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Alibaba ApsaraDB) is a plus.
Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements.

Nice to Have

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server Certified, AWS Certified Database – Specialty).
Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, or infrastructure as code.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
