Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive understanding of South Carolina's current child support data, data mapping logic, and conversion criteria to determine how legacy data aligns with the new system's structure
- Supervise data conversion tasks carried out by the System Development Contractor throughout all stages of the system development life cycle
- Evaluate deliverables from the System Development Contractor related to assigned areas, ensuring alignment with project timelines and procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to organize and support data cleansing initiatives
- Examine and validate the accuracy of data mapping rules used by the contractor, ensuring correct translation from legacy to new data formats
- Write SQL queries to assess legacy data and verify the validity of mapping logic and post-conversion data integrity
- Assess application requirements and evaluate their influence on data conversion workflows and mapping specifications
- Conduct automated and interactive testing to confirm the accuracy and reliability of data conversion results
