Responsibilities
- Perform current-state assessments and document functional workflows related to risk model data utilization.
- Review and interpret existing SAS code and end-user computing tools to verify data logic and validate results using SQL queries.
- Identify data needs and create Business Requirement Documents and technical blueprints, including data mappings, transformations, and integration points.
- Design and document future-state data workflows and datasets to support improved processes.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements, validate technical solutions, and assist in resolving code defects.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing efforts, ensuring issues are logged, resolved, and verified before deployment.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Data Analyst in Financial Services or Banking, including Retail, Business, or Corporate Banking sectors.
- Extensive hands-on experience conducting complex data analysis using SQL, including reconciliation, validation, and testing.
- Familiarity with SAS, including the ability to review and interpret code for data logic and transformations.
- Proven track record creating Business Requirement Documents, technical specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating User Acceptance Testing cycles with business stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert business needs into technical requirements.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently within defined objectives.
