The Data Analyst will join The League’s analytics team and report to the Head of Data Science, focusing on deep-dive analysis to optimize the product and marketing funnel across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. The role is central to defining core metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting strategic initiatives through analytics and experimentation.
What You'll Do
- Directly own the creation of key company metrics used to track aggregate company OKR performance
- Conduct quarterly prioritized analysis projects targeted at revenue and user growth
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses as defined by cross-functional partners and prioritized weekly
- Manage and maintain dashboards in Periscope that relate operational performance across company departments and track key company metrics
- Work with product managers and engineers to design data products and run A/B experiments
- Work directly with product and business stakeholders to translate the questions and hypotheses into structured analysis
- Own data analysis and visualization, and communicate the outcomes/insights to various partners (marketing, data, product, eng) to aid strategic decisions for improvements in experience for our users and help create potential feature + experimentation candidates
- Apply statistics, modeling and machine learning techniques to improve efficiency and relevance of The League’s matching algorithm
- Work towards creating a data-driven culture at The League
- Understand what matters most and prioritize ruthlessly
What We're Looking For
