Lennar is looking for a Data Analyst II to join our team. In this mid-level role, you will conduct complex analyses, create advanced reports and dashboards, and work closely with business units to translate their needs into data-driven insights. You will also mentor junior analysts and contribute to data process improvements, supporting Lennar's commitment to building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
- Conduct complex data analysis and develop insights that support business objectives.
- Create and maintain advanced reports and interactive dashboards for various stakeholders.
- Work closely with business units to translate their needs into data-driven solutions.
- Assist in developing data models to support predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Provide guidance and support to Data Analyst I in their daily tasks.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets and present findings to senior analysts.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data management and analysis.
- Apply advanced data cleaning techniques, such as normalization and handling categorical variables.
- Design complex visualizations that tell a compelling data story.
- Support and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Work with large and complex data sets.
- Take on leadership roles in projects, mentoring junior analysts and guiding team efforts.
- Hold self and others accountable for meeting deadlines and achieving quality outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of related data analysis experience.
- Ability to articulate data-driven insights clearly to a diverse audience.
- Experience identifying issues in data and processes and proposing effective solutions.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across teams and functions.
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts on AWS Platform & Snowflake.
- Ability to manage complex challenges with poise, maintaining focus under pressure.
- Willingness to actively contribute to change initiatives and encourage innovation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to achieve shared goals.
- Regular, in-person attendance at the Lennar office during regular work hours.
- Ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
Nice to Have
- Advanced coursework or certifications.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Experience with programming (e.g., Python, Shell Script, SQL), data modeling, and developing features within hyperscaler cloud environments.
- Experience using tools like Python (pandas, NumPy) or R for complex data manipulation.
