Responsibilities
- Create and manage delivery intelligence dashboards to provide visibility for leadership, engineering leads, and executives.
- Monitor and maintain key software delivery metrics including sprint performance, engineering efficiency, resource usage, quality trends, and team output.
- Define and standardize a consistent set of delivery health indicators across all product teams to enable uniform evaluation and improvement tracking.
- Convert raw data into meaningful insights, identifying patterns, outliers, and potential risks with clear action recommendations.
- Promptly alert leadership to delivery risks and emerging trends on the same day they are detected, bypassing fixed reporting schedules.
- Gather, combine, and process data from various systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and incident management tools into unified, dependable datasets.
- Set up and oversee data pipelines and integrations to ensure automated and accurate data movement from source systems to analytics platforms.
- Collaborate directly with engineering, product, and delivery leads to develop relevant, team-specific metrics and KPIs.
- Assist in delivery planning and post-sprint reviews using data analysis on sprint completion rates, velocity, unplanned work, task carryover, resource allocation, and change failure rates.
- Examine incident and quality data, including relationships between deployment frequency, defect levels, and production issues, to guide engineering enhancements.
- Deliver clear and timely updates on delivery health, risks, and trends to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Support software development lifecycle governance and compliance reporting, including audit materials for board-level reviews.
