Rotork is hiring a D365 Logistics SME (12m Contract)

About the Role

Rotork is seeking a D365 Logistics Subject Matter Expert for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of our Dynamics 365 implementation and associated engineering optimisation programme. In this role, you will be the technical expert working with global sites to align them with best practices for entity readiness, ensuring they are prepared to deploy D365. Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.

What You'll Do

  • Execute Rotork Business System Audits in readiness for system implementation, develop GAP analysis detail, and deliver & execute a programme to remove gaps prior to system deployment.
  • Act as the point of contact for the D365 Implementation Programme and as the conduit between the programme and the Operations Function for the Logistics & Warehouse functional area.
  • Coordinate and provide the relevant SME and functional resources to support delivery of the D365 and Target Operating Model transformation programme.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and continued support for business processes and D365 to Rotork Factory sites.
  • Lead Global, Site Leadership and SMEs through change management to adopt the core D365 operations solution.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to define, validate, and sign off requirements and deliverables to ensure our solution meets global best practice or local needs.
  • Hold and report upon the consolidated Operations view of progress against solution and business readiness for the functional area.
  • Drive through activities and decisions as required to be able to sign off solution and business readiness.
  • Support coordination of Operations cutover activities for Rotork Factory sites.
  • Support the upgrade and implementation of other operations systems as required.
  • Maintain business process maps for operations.
  • Support and Govern Site readiness for sites in transition.
  • Work with the Central operations team, SMEs and Enterprise Architects to maintain and continuously improve operations processes based on best practice.
  • Ensure the Operations process and standard operating procedures library is kept up to date, developing new documentation where required.
  • Prepare content for change management workshops, taking users through key areas of change and drawing out high-level discussion on potential changes.
  • Develop questionnaires to identify concerns, gaps, and unique local requirements from local teams.
  • Drive through process standardisation, optimisation and best practice on each site.
  • Work with the Operations Transition manager to consider if change from the global process can be accepted.
  • Work with the Operations Team and IT to translate Operations needs into system configuration requirements where additional localisation is required.
  • Identify, monitor and manage any actions required to prepare for and embed change where needed.
  • Provide ongoing support of Rotork sites to ensure readiness for Go live of D365.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years working in Warehouse management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of manufacturing material management and replenishment procedures.
  • Comfort working in a high-pressure environment, in agile and dynamic way to tackle unexpected and emerging issues.
  • Demonstrable track record, and sufficient gravitas and experience, to deliver positive, high impact business outcomes and change.
  • Experience working on a substantial change project or upgrade of an ERP system.
  • Experience managing senior internal and external stakeholders to provide information, drive decisions and resolve issues.
