Responsibilities
- Coordinate with USSOCOM J62 to stay current on information assurance policies and directives
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scanning activities
- Address and resolve system security weaknesses following STIG guidelines and DoD requirements
- Prepare certification and accreditation documentation under DIACAP and RMF processes and assist in obtaining formal authorizations
- Provide technical guidance on information assurance to engineering teams and non-technical staff
- Partner with senior program office personnel and technical teams to assess new technologies, support system integration, testing, and architecture design for mission-ready solutions
- Advise leadership and stakeholders on information assurance project status and requirements
- Utilize cybersecurity tools such as XACTA and eMASS to maintain and update IA documentation packages
- Support and secure Windows and Linux operating systems, servers, and other computing platforms as needed
- Implement Risk Management Framework procedures in compliance with DoD policies and directives
