About the Role

DomainTools is hiring a Cybersecurity Community Manager to grow our Community Program and establish our presence in the cyber threat intelligence community. In this role, you will be the vital bridge connecting our internal security teams with external researchers, customers, reporters, and the broader community.

What You'll Do

  • Build and nurture a vibrant, inclusive cyber threat intelligence community across multiple platforms.
  • Organize and host webinars and community calls featuring security experts and researchers.
  • Develop content strategies to share research findings and community highlights.
  • Partner with internal and external researchers to publish and promote security research on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
  • Facilitate responsible disclosure processes and coordinate with the security team on risk analysis.
  • Track emerging threats and trends to inform community discussions and content.
  • Own the strategy for our grants program to support independent researchers, students, and reporters.
  • Monitor grant outcomes and promote successful projects within the community.
  • Work with our Grants Administrator to facilitate an effective and efficient program.
  • Develop and manage a customer-facing program to educate and engage clients on best practices.
  • Create resources such as newsletters, research, and a customer advisory board tailored to customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and DomainTools teams to address concerns and share feedback.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, community management, or program management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, the threat landscape, and research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have

  • Background in security research or technical writing.
  • Experience working with the threat intelligence community.
  • Ability to translate complex security topics into accessible content.
  • Experience managing grants or customer programs.
  • Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Reddit, GitHub, and community analytics platforms.
