This role focuses on architecting and implementing robust cloud security solutions using Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Azure platforms. You will lead the design of both high-level and detailed technical architectures, ensuring secure access, Cloud DLP integration, and SSL inspection are effectively deployed across the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive architectures for Zscaler Internet Access and Private Access, enabling secure remote connectivity and data protection.
- Create detailed deployment guides and gain stakeholder approval for implementation plans.
- Migrate configurations from legacy web proxies and VPNs to Zscaler platforms, ensuring continuity and improved security posture.
- Configure Zscaler components and integrate them with SIEM, Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS), and other cloud security tools.
- Lead testing, validation, and enterprise-wide rollout of security solutions, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Update technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for operations teams to ensure long-term supportability.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring 8–10 years of direct experience with Zscaler technologies, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. Proven ability to design and deploy enterprise-scale Zscaler solutions is essential. Experience migrating from traditional proxy and VPN infrastructures to modern cloud-based models is required.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments—particularly identity, networking, and integration patterns—is expected. Familiarity with integrating Zscaler into broader security ecosystems such as SIEM and MCAS is critical. You must also have a track record of producing clear technical documentation and leading end-to-end testing and deployment cycles.
Preferred Background
- Zscaler certifications such as ZCCP, ZCA, or advanced ZPA/ZIA credentials.
- Experience working in large, multi-unit enterprise environments.
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles and modern secure access models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and transfer knowledge effectively to technical teams.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $108,000 to $125,000, depending on experience. The position is eligible for participation in a discretionary annual incentive program.
