Requirements
- Enrollment in or completion of a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Solid grasp of core cybersecurity concepts, including risk assessment, threat modeling, and mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM systems, firewall configurations, and vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of Canadian-specific regulatory standards and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate and resolve intricate security issues effectively.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage tasks autonomously while also contributing within team settings.
- High level of attention to detail and consistent problem-solving aptitude.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with established security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls is highly beneficial.
- Holdings of recognized certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are considered advantageous.
Compensation
Compensation is provided at a rate of $32.00 CAD per hour in the form of common shares valued at fair market price; no cash payment is issued.
