Currently, we're on the hunt for a Customs Specialist to join our team in Warsaw and tackle customs processes across the entire VELUX Group. Your responsibilities: • Keep a razor-sharp eye on shifts in EU customs regulations and seamlessly implement them within our internal procedures. • Handle tariff classification of goods per EU regulations (bonus points if you know tariffs in other markets like the USA). • Determine preferential product origins for all applicable Free Trade Agreements, manage LTSDs, the whole nine yards. • Pin down the non-preferential origin of goods. • Supervise import processes, meticulously verifying customs declarations for accurate value and classification. • Oversee export processes, including securing export confirmations. • Coordinate the smooth flow of goods and documentation in international transactions. • Engage with EU customs authorities, especially during clearance and audit procedures. • Dive into customs-related projects like CBAM reporting. • Craft and refresh procedures for existing and emerging customs processes. What we're looking for: • Solid grasp of EU customs regulations – documents, tariff classification, product origins. • Minimum 2 years professional experience in customs and international trade. • Familiarity with SAP. • Strong team player with top-notch communication skills. • Excellent English – this is an international environment, after all.
