Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Customer Support Manager to join our mission-driven work. In this role, you will directly impact energy efficiency and sustainability across thousands of buildings, engaging with property managers and building owners to ensure optimal system performance and reduced carbon emissions.

What You'll Do

  • Provide real-time technical support via live phone calls on a 24/7 support line.
  • Remotely troubleshoot heating and energy systems in multifamily and commercial buildings.
  • Analyze system data and perform real-time settings adjustments using our internal platform.
  • Conduct remote quality assurance after installations or service calls to verify system performance.
  • Partner with a wide range of customers—from individual property owners to large companies—as a trusted advisor on energy-saving strategies.
  • Help customers achieve fuel reduction goals and ensure tenant comfort through continuous monitoring and optimization.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Support, Service, Sales, or Account Management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to connect easily with customers.
  • A natural problem solver, capable of quickly diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
  • Comfortable distilling technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for customers.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-changing environment.
  • Motivated to go the extra mile during peak periods, particularly in winter.
  • Passionate about sustainability, real estate, and/or energy efficiency.
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection is essential for remote work.
  • Belief in values such as humility, sincerity, resilience, and operational efficiency.

  • Salary: $60,000–$80,000 depending on experience.
