Caterpillar Inc. is looking for a Customer Service Representative I to join our Caterpillar Financial team in Paris. In this role, you will provide first-line support, coordinate services, and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and retention by managing a portfolio of professional clients.
What You'll Do
- Manage and track customer and dealer requests, including contract modifications, financing plan calculations, and preparing files for the credit team.
- Handle contract endings by calculating and communicating CRDs and managing end-of-contract packages several times per week.
- Perform administrative management tasks, including month-end booking, post-booking, and contract verifications.
- Manage customer relations through welcome calls and assisting clients with the online customer portal.
- Conduct analysis and reporting by monitoring customer accounts, updating dashboards, and participating in team meetings.
- Perform first-level accounting follow-up, such as allocating payments, monitoring suspense accounts, and collaborating with Accounting on reconciliations.
- Collaborate transversely with sales, credit, litigation, collection, and accounting teams.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of successful experience in a leasing company or bank, managing a portfolio of professional clients.
- Comfort with customer relations and managing customer requests.
- Knowledge of financing and leasing products, along with notions of financial calculations.
- Strong command of the Office suite and knowledge of Oracle and Salesforce.
- A Bac+2/3 in finance, law, or management (e.g., Bachelor in accounting, Licence Économie Gestion parcours Comptabilité Finance, Master Finance or Law).
- A service-oriented, rigorous, autonomous, and team-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational skills to ensure effective case follow-up and manage priorities.
- Comfort with numbers, financial calculations, and a logical mindset.
- Excellent relational and negotiation skills.
