Republic Services is looking for a Customer Service Rep I - (CA-Remote). In this role, you will work under direct supervision to deliver quality service to our customers. You will respond to routine residential and commercial customer calls, inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving general to moderately complex issues.
What You'll Do
- Successfully complete training to become knowledgeable about the waste services industry and Republic Services’ processes, services, and policies.
- Respond in a timely and accurate manner to routine customer service calls, ensuring residential customer issues are treated respectfully and professionally.
- Effectively respond to routine issues regarding general commercial service changes and contract compliance matters, which may involve outbound calls to resolve simple issues.
- Return all internal and external calls, emails, and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure customers’ concerns are addressed and resolved efficiently.
- Receive and review individual performance metric reports and action plan with your manager.
- Enter service and route data into computer systems for billing and route scheduling purposes.
- Log information about customer service interactions into systems and update records in a timely and accurate manner.
Team & Environment
You will work under the direct supervision of a Customer Service Supervisor.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must be located within the state of California.
