Labcorp is looking for a Customer Service Rep - Client Billing to join our Contact Center team. In this remote role, you'll work with physician offices, hospital labs, patients, and internal customers to address client needs accurately and efficiently, providing product education and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, averaging 50-60 calls per day.
- Follow approved standard operating procedures to update information and resolve denied claims.
- Continuously evaluate current policies and SOPs to recommend process improvements.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Read and understand explanations of benefits and correspondence.
- Accurately document all accounts, ensuring guidelines and regulations are followed.
- Communicate via telephone with physicians, insurance companies, and patients.
- Utilize tools to verify eligibility, claim status, and obtain better billing information.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of work experience.
Nice to Have
- Previous call center and customer service experience.
- Previous medical experience.
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and exercise critical thinking skills.
Team & Environment
You will join the Contact Center team for Client AR & Customer Service within the Revenue Cycle Management Division.
