IOTA GROUP is hiring a Customer Project Manager (Data center projects Europe)

About the Role

The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of data center projects for customers, aligning timelines, resources, and technical execution while serving as the primary point of contact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and execution for data center installations across European markets
  • Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and risk mitigation plans
  • Serve as main liaison between clients and internal project teams
  • Monitor project budgets and report financial performance regularly
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations
  • Manage change requests and scope adjustments in line with client needs
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders
  • Track deliverables and resolve bottlenecks proactively
  • Oversee site readiness and coordinate logistics for equipment delivery
  • Facilitate handover and commissioning processes at project completion
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support bid and proposal development for new projects
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in project delivery
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and issue resolution
  • Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to meet project milestones
  • Adapt project plans based on regional regulatory or site-specific requirements
  • Escalate risks and dependencies to senior management when necessary
  • Implement quality assurance checks at key project stages
  • Support post-project reviews and lessons learned documentation

Nice to Have

  • Experience in hyperscale data center projects
  • Previous work in colocation or cloud infrastructure environments
  • Certification in data center-specific standards (e.g., CDCP)
  • Familiarity with BIM or CAD-based project documentation
  • Project management experience in regulated industries
