Imprint is hiring a Credit Reporting Disputes Specialist

About the Role

Imprint is hiring a Credit Reporting Disputes Specialist to ensure our credit reporting remains accurate and compliant as we scale. You’ll be at the heart of investigating disputes and implementing patches for consumer credit reports from both direct and indirect channels, helping to build the future of payments and rewards.

What You'll Do

  • Review and investigate direct and indirect credit reporting disputes through internal systems and bureau channels like e-OSCAR.
  • Identify and apply corrections to consumer reporting in conjunction with our reporting team.
  • Document case work and investigation notes with precision while consistently meeting resolution timelines.
  • Produce accurate, compliant dispute resolution communications based on Imprint templates.
  • Ensure all outgoing consumer communications are timely, clear, and reflect Imprint standards.
  • Follow all relevant credit reporting and compliance standards, including FCRA and FACTA.
  • Maintain detailed records and properly document outcomes and corrective actions.
  • Escalate trends and systemic gaps to leadership and partner teams such as Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to highlight recurring issues and support long-term solutions.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements to reduce dispute volume and increase automation fidelity.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years in dispute resolution, credit reporting operations, or related financial services experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently.
  • Excellent written communication tailored to disputes use cases and compliance needs.
  • Familiarity with credit reporting regulations and bureau dispute platforms.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages.
  • Leading configured work computers of your choice.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage.
  • Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents.
  • Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units.
