Wargaming is hiring a Senior Creative Writer to join the narrative team for World of Tanks: HEAT. You will bring compelling characters and stories to life by creating scripts for gameplay voice over, cinematics, and in-game dialogue while collaborating closely with design, art, and development teams.
What You'll Do
- Write and edit voice over scripts for a cast of playable heroes and NPCs
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and animators to create high-quality, character-driven in-game cinematics
- Build a unique cast of characters with complex backstories in partnership with the narrative design team
- Maintain the quality and consistency of English writing across the project alongside copywriting and localization teams
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a game writer
- Exceptional written and spoken English (C2 proficiency)
- Proven experience writing voice over scripts for video games
- Experience working within cross-discipline teams
- Understanding of game development production cycles
- Experience working with story boards and video production
Nice to Have
- Experience with live-ops products
- Understanding of localization processes
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools
- Experience with voice over recordings and working with actors
- Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.)
