Responsibilities
- Immersing yourself in the flow: Spend time diving deep into how the Marketing Operations and Creative teams work together, specifically the creative intake process, the project and resourcing dashboards, and the budget.
- Uncovering tension points and critical needs: Begin owning these critical workflows and start uncovering and documenting the cracks, the friction points, and the process breakdowns.
- Designing for the future: Partner with the rest of Marketing Operations and Creative leaders to start defining business requirements which you can then translate into system recommendations — think tools and processes.
- Building and evolving a Robust Resource Model: Design a resource model that integrates the intake process with resource allocation and budget tracking and enables rolling 6 months visibility based on accurate project benchmarking.
- Building and evolving a Centralized Dashboard: Build a dashboard that tracks creative capacity and project spend, providing senior leaders with real-time visibility.
- Owning and refining Seamless and Accurate Intake Benchmarking: Ensure project benchmarks are relevant and as accurate as can be.
- Establishing Financial Synergy: Establish a sustainable budget review cycle with Finance, ensuring every roadmap shift is captured in forecasts.
- Implementing High-Impact Prioritization: Implement a ranking system for staffing needs based on strategic importance, ensuring the most impactful work never misses a beat.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a change agent with expertise in resource and budget planning frameworks.
- Ability to analyze complex data from Finance, Marketing, and Creative teams to create accurate forecasts.
- Experience leading the redesign of resource and budget planning frameworks to improve efficiency and adoption.
- Comfort managing resource planning for teams of 20+ people.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across departments including Legal, P&C, and Creative leads.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and purpose across business functions.
- Experience using technology and process design to drive efficiency improvements.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the world.
