Responsibilities
- Develop a high-level annual design strategy and creative roadmap, informed by department priorities and design needs
- Establish creative standards and priorities to guide design execution across product, brand, and content projects, ensuring visual consistency across channels/experiences
- Identify opportunities to improve visual systems, brand consistency, and overall creative quality
- Provide creative direction and feedback on high-priority and time-sensitive design projects
- Support short-term design initiatives as needed to ensure quality and alignment
- Mentor and up-skill the design team in strategic design, execution quality, and creative thinking
- Share best practices and frameworks to strengthen the team’s creative capabilities
- Assess and improve the design request intake and handoff process
- Improve how design work is scoped, briefed, prioritized, and transitioned into production
- Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to leadership

Additional Information
- This is a 3-month contract role with the possibility of extension based on mutual fit and organizational needs
- Workload is 10 hours per week
