Turner & Townsend is hiring a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction (Heavy Civil)

Responsibilities

  • Manage cost control and reporting for construction projects.
  • Prepare and update cost estimates and budgets.
  • Conduct quantity surveys and prepare bills of quantities.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures.
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and review tender documents.
  • Assist in contract administration.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Provide cost advice and support to the project team.
  • Prepare and submit monthly cost reports.
  • Identify and mitigate cost risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Prepare and review cost variance reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses.
  • Prepare and review cost forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules.
  • Conduct cost audits and reviews.
  • Prepare and review cost estimates for variations and additional works.
  • Assist in the preparation of project cash flows.
  • Conduct cost control and reporting for multiple projects.
  • Prepare and review cost reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of project cost plans.

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.

  • Proficiency in using project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • Knowledge of local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Experience in working on projects with complex contractual arrangements.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of local labor market and recruitment practices.
  • Experience in working on projects with multiple stakeholders and interests.
