Lead strategic payer engagement for a major pharmaceutical portfolio in a remote capacity with up to 50% domestic travel. As the Corporate Account Director, you will serve as the primary liaison with top-tier national payers, including Cigna-ESI, CVS-Caremark, and United Health Group-Emisar, shaping access and reimbursement strategies that balance patient needs with financial performance.
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
Direct commercial contracts for key accounts such as Zinc and Caremark-PCS, aligning with internal stakeholders across Market Access, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Medical, and Supply Chain. You will develop data-driven insights and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring payer strategies support brand objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate clinical, financial, and operational perspectives into unified payer strategies. Champion a culture of continuous learning by elevating team knowledge, challenging assumptions, and promoting strategic innovation.
Operational Excellence
Ensure timely coordination of AbbVie’s resources in alignment with customer timelines and market shifts. Monitor changes in payer policies and adapt strategies rapidly to maintain competitive positioning. Support regional account teams and affiliated plans, ensuring consistent, compliant execution across all interactions.
Manage communication flow across departments, maintain strong ties with medical personnel, and support sales initiatives across business units. You will also mentor colleagues, fostering individual growth and strengthening overall team capability.
