Nestlé is hiring a Controls Technical Specialist I to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our production automation systems. In this role, you will work directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and enhance PLC and PC-based controls, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Configure, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
- Perform preventive maintenance for controls, software/data systems, and servers
- Provide programming and electrical support on assigned plant capital projects
- Coordinate and implement control systems software upgrades
- Organize electrical and control parts inventory
- Provide instrumentation, PLC, and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to plant maintenance staff
- Work safely at all times
What We're Looking For
- An Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline and 1+ years of experience in PLC software and electrical/hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI-systems, or related military experience
- A High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in PLC software and electrical/hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI-systems, or related military experience
