Lead the visual and user experience design for sophisticated website initiatives in a fully remote environment. As a Contract Senior Website Visual Designer, you'll shape design strategy from initial discovery through final launch, ensuring every decision supports both user needs and project objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Guide comprehensive website projects, establishing a strong design direction and helping clients and internal teams make informed decisions.
- Develop accessible, intuitive solutions including wireframes, user flows, interface designs, interactive prototypes, and scalable design systems that ensure long-term consistency.
- Present design concepts clearly, translating complex thinking into straightforward explanations that align stakeholders and reinforce recommendations.
- Lead discovery workshops to gather insights and convert research into actionable deliverables such as sitemaps, user journeys, and personas.
- Work closely with Content Strategists, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure designs are cohesive, feasible, and implemented accurately.
- Support business development by contributing design expertise during client pitches and sales discussions.
- Share knowledge through public speaking, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives that elevate the team’s visibility.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a senior-level website designer with a portfolio showcasing depth in end-to-end UX/UI projects.
- A commitment to accessibility and inclusive design, built into every stage of the process.
- Strong communication skills—able to explain design choices in plain language and respond constructively to feedback.
- Confidence in leading discussions, shaping direction, and advocating for users while balancing project goals.
- The ability to listen actively, adapt when necessary, and uphold the quality and integrity of the final product.
