Nearmap is looking for a Content Writer to create content across the full spectrum, from brand storytelling to targeted campaigns for Insurance, Government, and AECO audiences. In this role, you will drive demand, build thought leadership, and collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Create content that drives demand, including landing pages, email campaigns, nurture sequences, social posts, and banner ads.
- Build thought leadership through industry research pieces, webinar presentations, and video scripts.
- Create content spanning multiple formats and channels, both long and short form, written and visual, owned and paid.
- Collaborate closely with Growth Marketing, Creative, Digital, Sales, BDRs, and external agency partners.
- Lead on AI-assisted content production, using generative AI tools to accelerate work while maintaining quality, brand voice, and accuracy.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years in B2B or B2C marketing writing, ideally in tech.
- A genuine talent for translating complex, technical products into clear and compelling stories for varied audiences.
- Strong SEO knowledge, including on-page optimisation and working with SEO agencies.
- Comfort with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics to read performance data and sharpen content strategy.
- Experience with content management systems and ability to manage content across multiple channels and formats.
- Fluency with generative AI tools, including critically evaluating AI output for accuracy, brand consistency, and quality.
- Ability to work to and write creative briefs, and manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, designers, and video producers.
- Think like an educator, intuitively knowing what an audience needs to understand.
- Hold creative and analytical thinking at the same time.
- Be highly organised and able to juggle multiple workstreams.
- Bring agility, responsiveness, and a sense of humour to the work.
Nice to Have
- Background in insurance, government, AECO, or customer marketing.
- Experience managing creative resources such as writers, designers, and video producers.
