Lightspeed is looking for a senior Content Specialist, native in French, to be the voice of Lightspeed Restaurant for the French, Swiss, and Belgium markets. As a key member of our dynamic in-house content team, you'll deliver high-impact content across multiple channels.
What You'll Do
- Own the development and localization of high-quality French content across campaigns, product launches, PR, partnerships, social media, and sales materials.
- Develop and write PR-driven content, executive bylines, and sponsored media pieces, translating research and data into compelling narratives.
- Create and manage website content with a strong SEO focus, lead regional SEO initiatives, conduct keyword research, and work closely with our SEO agency.
- Interview customers and partners to create impactful case studies and video scripts.
- Drive performance through data by tracking key metrics and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
- Apply strong product understanding to create compelling content that increases product visibility and supports upsell opportunities.
- Lead editorial planning for French-speaking markets by identifying strategic content themes aligned with marketing roadmaps.
- Work closely with content team members to maintain a unified brand voice and high editorial standards across all platforms.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, streamline workflows, and scale output efficiently.
- Develop deep knowledge of our key audiences, market dynamics, and hospitality industry trends to inform commercially relevant storytelling.
- Provide editorial guidance, proofreading, and feedback to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality output across the team.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level proficiency in French (from France), with exceptional storytelling, editing, and conceptual thinking skills.
- 4+ years of experience in SaaS marketing, journalism, or branded content roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience creating quality content across multiple marketing channels that supports brand positioning.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, with experience writing PR articles or bylines and supporting media initiatives.
- Demonstrated SEO expertise, including keyword research and applying on-page optimization best practices.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align content to business goals and measurable performance outcomes.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work across teams while independently driving high-priority projects to completion.
- Familiarity with content management systems and SEO tools like aHrefs or Semrush.
