HSBC Group is hiring a Mid-Level Content Designer to own the narrative and clarity across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will design user journeys, information architectures, and content systems that make complex financial processes intuitive and human.
What You'll Do
- Create end-to-end user journeys, maintaining voice, tone, and narrative strategy across financial products and markets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, secure approvals with Global Design teams, and meet key financial objectives.
- Ensure an impeccable standard of grammar, syntax, and creativity in all content.
- Bring a creative edge to solve technical hurdles with elegance and craftsmanship.
- Use testing methods, metrics, and research findings to inform content decisions and iterations.
- Validate content decisions through data to drive organizational objectives.
- Adapt technical and legal concepts into human, actionable language that meets compliance standards.
- Standardize and maintain comprehensive documentation to align cross-functional requirements for Legal, Compliance, IT, and Design teams.
- Conduct user research focused on design and content to ensure usability and effectiveness.
- Oversee the end-to-end localization process, balancing local market needs with global UX standards.
- Work closely with UX researchers, designers, and product managers to align data insights with product goals.
- Present findings to stakeholders and provide strategic proposals for improvements.
- Guide and mentor junior content designers and other teams across the institution.
- Lead content-driven projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader product strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or master's degree in linguistics, literature, communication, or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- 3-5 years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, Content Strategy, Customer Experience, or a similar area.
- Impeccable grammar, syntax, and content creation skills.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Previous banking business knowledge.
- Strong creative background with experience in content creation, voice, and tone.
- Deep understanding of customer behavior and experience translating research data into clear content design.
- Ability to translate complex legal and technical issues into clear content strategy and recommendations.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience working independently on content design projects or initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business, IT, marketing, and design professionals.
- Ability to perform under pressure with an open mindset for alternate ideas.
