Swiss Tech Academy is looking for a Content Creator Intern to play a key role in shaping our online presence. You will create engaging content for a tech education audience, helping us empower students, early-career professionals, and career switchers. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about storytelling, creative design, and digital marketing who wants to build their portfolio and gain hands-on experience in a supportive, innovative edtech environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop high-quality, engaging visuals, videos, and graphics to support marketing and educational campaigns.
- Simplify complex software engineering concepts and translate them into accessible formats like infographics, tutorials, and explainer videos.
- Plan, create, and schedule posts across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Learn and apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and optimize multimedia content for various digital platforms.
- Help drive sign-ups for the company’s pre-launch email list by creating engaging calls-to-action, banners, and other visual content.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in tech and education, integrating current topics into your work.
- Help manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content across various platforms.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions, offering ideas and insights to refine content and improve quality.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or demonstrated strong knowledge of software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in content creation with a focus on technical topics or educational materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their content formats.
- Interest in tech, education, and online learning platforms.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and adapt.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours a week.
Nice to Have
- German language knowledge is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark).
