About the Role

Standard Insurance Company is hiring a Contact Center Representative I who thrives in a fast-paced service environment. You will be the first point of contact for members, providing accurate information and handling transactions with a commitment to integrity and a customer-first mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver personalized service and respond to member inquiries about our products.
  • Conduct research and follow up on member issues to achieve a one-call resolution.
  • Manage escalations professionally, practicing de-escalation techniques.
  • Provide administrative support and participate in team huddles.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced contact center environment.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relay product information clearly.
  • Familiarity with using multiple computer and telecommunications technologies.
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and member needs.
  • Integrity in communication and service delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance metrics and quality assurance processes.

  • Compensation: $20.00 - $26.20 per hour.
