Forbes Advisor is hiring a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead strategic finance for the Technology Business Unit within the CNET Group at Ziff Davis. You will be a strategic financial leader driving business growth, shaping a data-driven culture, and partnering with global leaders to solve business challenges and improve financial performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for the Technology Business Unit.
- Build strong relationships with senior executives and functional leaders as a trusted business partner.
- Monitor financial progress against company goals and develop recommendations for investments and cost efficiencies.
- Own financial models and establish critical KPIs and unit economics.
- Partner with the Business Intelligence team to deliver key data and insights.
- Lead monthly global financial reporting efforts.
- Proactively identify and take on new responsibilities to improve processes and enhance business performance.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance at a global company.
- Expert in strategic planning and financial modeling with strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP Accounting and Finance principles.
- Collaborative self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and keen eye for detail.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills with a track record of communicating complex financial information clearly.
- Thrive on solving complex problems with a flexible, adaptable approach.
- Ability to work a schedule aligning with India timezones and US Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Nice to Have
- MBA.
- Experience with Oracle EPM, including SmartView and HSGetValue.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, and Google Workspace.
- Experience in the advertising, media, or technology industries.
