Capco is hiring a Consultant - Product Manager Cards/Payments

About the Role

What You'll Do

Lead the end-to-end development of digital products in the payments space, focusing on delivering tangible value to users and businesses. Work closely with designers, engineers, and client stakeholders to identify core customer challenges and develop solutions that are both practical and impactful.

Conduct in-depth research using qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user behaviors and market opportunities. Translate insights into clear product direction, ensuring each feature supports measurable outcomes. Guide products from concept to launch, continuously refining based on performance data and user feedback.

Ensure all solutions align with the regulatory, risk, and operational realities of financial institutions. Maintain a strong focus on customer outcomes, not just delivery timelines, and use structured thinking to balance innovation with feasibility.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree from a leading business or engineering institution
  • Bring at least five years of hands-on product management experience, ideally within a tech-driven environment, consultancy, or agency
  • Possess specific knowledge of ecommerce payment systems and acceptance gateways
  • Demonstrate a history of successfully launching end-to-end digital products, particularly in mobile or web applications
  • Apply proven product frameworks such as Jobs-to-be-Done, KANO analysis, persona modeling, and Lean Startup principles
  • Be experienced in agile delivery and comfortable working iteratively
  • Show strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage technical teams and senior business leaders alike
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in English, presenting data-backed recommendations in a structured way
  • Have a solid grasp of the banking and financial services industry, including its competitive dynamics, regulations, and evolving trends
  • Think creatively to solve complex problems and explore alternative paths to results
