Stripe is looking for a Product Manager to lead the buyer experience for its Optimized Checkout Suite. In this role, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap to ensure Stripe's users can deliver the best possible checkout experience.
What You'll Do
- Develop the long-term vision and strategy for Stripe's OCS buyer experience, prioritize accordingly, and create an execution roadmap.
- Deeply understand our users' needs by spending time with developers, sales, and support, and by observing patterns and trends across their feedback and the market.
- Propose the right experiments to ensure we have the safest and most performant checkout on the internet.
- Set the pace, prioritization, and execution for the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in a product management role.
- Experience partnering closely with engineers and designers to build products and complex systems at scale, especially front-end surfaces.
- An obsession with product quality and an eye for design.
- The ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
- A desire for continuous product improvement and an ability to optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulation of customer problems.
Nice to Have
- Strong business acumen and comfort with complex ecosystem and system-level problems.
- Experience with payment integrations.
- Machine learning and experimentation experience.
