Responsibilities
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to design and produce high-quality client deliverables.
- Engage with leadership to establish project goals, methodologies, and development plans.
- Support the construction and enhancement of the internal data warehouse.
- Apply expertise in data platforms, including data warehousing and monitoring, as well as data engineering practices such as ETL and schema design, and CI/CD workflows.
- Examine datasets, interpret results, and generate actionable insights, sharing outcomes across internal and external groups.
- Manage client-facing initiatives, including communication, meeting coordination, and timeline adherence, operating with limited supervision.
- Build and refine data workflows, using programming when needed to improve data processing and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with international and diverse teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support internal programs aimed at advancing organizational capabilities and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree with a minimum of two years of professional experience, ideally in pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
- Hands-on experience with relational database systems such as Databricks, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.
- Solid analytical and quantitative abilities with a track record of resolving complex challenges.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational, time management, and project leadership skills, with capacity to oversee multiple initiatives.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic work setting.
Nice to Have
- Experience with UI-driven ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Alteryx, Informatica, SnapLogic, Boomi, or Prophecy.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, PySpark, SAS, or VBA, and data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex.
