Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Prepare and review construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement construction schedules and budgets.
- Manage and supervise construction crews and subcontractors.
- Resolve construction-related issues and challenges.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
- Prepare progress reports and updates for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure constructability.
- Review and approve change orders and additional work requests.
- Conduct final inspections and ensure project closeout.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards.
- Participate in project planning and design meetings.
- Provide input on cost estimates and budgeting.
- Conduct post-construction evaluations and lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers.
- Coordinate with utility companies and other external parties.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Certification in construction management or a related field.
- Experience with LEED or other green building certifications.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of advanced construction techniques and technologies.
- Experience with international construction projects.
