About the Role

Shape the future of robotic perception in clean energy by developing advanced AI and computer vision solutions for autonomous systems. You'll create high-performance algorithms for object detection, segmentation, and pose estimation using multi-sensor inputs, enabling robots to operate intelligently in complex outdoor environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design, train, and deploy deep learning models for real-time perception tasks, ensuring accuracy and reliability under challenging conditions
  • Build and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines that support continuous integration, validation, and monitoring of AI models in production
  • Process and interpret data from cameras, lidar, radar, and other sensors to extract actionable insights for robotic navigation and manipulation
  • Collaborate with robotics, hardware, and control engineers to define system architectures and integrate perception software into robotic platforms
  • Translate product requirements into technical specifications and lead the design of perception software stack components
  • Guide sensor selection and configuration by working closely with hardware teams to optimize performance and cost
  • Stay current with advancements in AI, computer vision, and robotics to continuously improve system capabilities
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, or robotics development
  • Strong grasp of image processing, 3D geometry, and deep learning theory
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS2, with experience in frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Background in real-time systems and embedded platforms, with familiarity in sensor fusion techniques
  • Proven ability to work independently in fast-moving environments while collaborating across disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset focused on quality and performance
  • Passion for solving real-world engineering challenges in sustainable energy
