The Flexi Group is hiring a Community Manager to ensure the smooth running of our facilities, focusing on an unrivalled member experience through events and partnerships. You will be accountable for business performance, team leadership, and training, ensuring operational excellence and community engagement.
What You'll Do
- Manage all finance tasks including petty cash, invoicing, receipt of payments, and management reports.
- Train the community team on administrative and finance tasks and ensure financial deadlines are met.
- Ensure inventory is complete and ordering is within the set budget.
- Analyze P&L reports and conduct variance analysis.
- Ensure billing is complete and aged receivables are followed up to minimize late payments.
- Develop relationships with members, understand their needs, and create action plans to exceed expectations.
- Equip the team to solve member-related issues and foster a collaborative community.
- Drive weekly community initiatives like member introductions, events, and social media engagement.
- Ensure the space's cleanliness and upkeep meet standards, coordinating essential maintenance and pantry stocking.
- Report maintenance and improvement needs, ensuring costs align with budget.
- Conduct quality control checks and address issues immediately.
- Oversee daily operations including front desk services, event planning, and social media marketing.
- Work with leadership to maintain 100% occupancy and a high retention rate.
- Develop strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.
- Ensure all enquiries are followed up on and deals are closed.
- Manage the team to actively seek leads, conduct tours, and meet sales targets.
- Maintain the relationship with the location's landlord.
- Ensure high-quality event execution and report member feedback.
- Drive collaborations and partnerships across different industries.
- Ensure timely production of event collateral.
- Update social media pages and create engaging content.
- Ensure the team regularly updates the event calendar and notice board.
- Attend and support external and internal events as a company ambassador.
- Set SMART goals for the team and assist with training and coaching.
- Responsible for onboarding, training, developing, and reviewing team performance.
- Participate in interviews for team hiring.
- Provide essential training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Actively work on personal development.
- Coordinate with the People Team to track team training and progression.
- Manage, inspire, support, and guide the team through regular one-on-ones and meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Three to Five years experience in a customer-facing leadership position.
- Personable with strong verbal and written communication.
- Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask.
- Thrives under pressure and is solution-oriented.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Good business acumen.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- University Degree.
- Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business.
